Instructions for presentations & posters
Presentations
For practical reasons we will ask the presenters to make their presentation from the main computer connected to the sound and projection system. A link to upload the presentations will be circulated by the SOC/LOC in advance.
We have planned for different types of takls:
- Review talks are 1 hour, including questions
- Standard talks (white in the programme) are 12 minutes, plus 3 minutes for questions
- Short talks (grey in the programme) are 8 minutes, plus 2 minutes for questions
- Splinter sessions talks are 12 minutes, plus 3 minutes for questions
- Talks part of a specific session (pink slots in the programme) are also 8 minutes, plus 2 minutes of questions. However, the first speaker of each sessions will have more time and will be in charge of making a general introduction to the session. These specific speaks have been contacted in advance by the SOC. The three sessions are:
- Cold Jupiters and close-in small planets
- Giant planets around M dwarfs
- RV and Gaia
Posters
The posters should be in A0 format (841 x 1189 mm) or smaller, and in "portrait" mode (not "landscape"). Support stands will be provided in a dedicated room.
