Venue

Observatoire de Haute-Provence

The conference will take place at Observatoire de Haute-Provence (OHP), observing station in Astrophysics, Geophysics, Physics of Atmosphere and Ecology. The Observatory founded in 1937, is located in Southern France, near the village of Saint Michel l’Observatoire. It is the place of discovery of 51 Peg b, an achievement that earned Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz the Nobel prize in Physics in 2019, and of co-discovery of Gl 876 b, the first planet detected around an M-dwarf star. The 193-cm telescope is currently equipped with the SOPHIE spectrograph, which produces a steady contribution to exoplanet studies.
