Observational Astronmy is at the verge of a new era.
With the colonization of the Moon on the move,
new observations, impossible from Earth or in orbit telescopes,
will take place.
I will first review the logistic and astronomical advantages
of lunar Astronomy, compared to terrestrial and in orbit Astronomy.
I will then investigate what the Moon will do for cool giant planets and their systems:
- spectroscopy of transits
- exomoons
- direct spectro-imaging: planet atmospheres and seasons
- astrometry
- radio detection
- parallax of microlensing
Several lunar telescope projets will be presented to achieve these goals
